Sana Jardin is the world‘s first socially conscious and ethical luxury fragrance house founded by social worker turned fragrance entrepreneur, Amy Christiansen Si-Ahmed.
The perfume label was formed primarily as a vehicle for social change, creating positive social impact through the economic empowerment of women.
To do this, Sana Jardin worked with Nest and floral ingredient supplier, Les Aromes du Maroc. The brand works closely with the agrarian community, piloting three micro-enterprises with female farmers in the villages of Tiddas and Maaziz, Morocco. Creating closed loop systems, they enable women to upcycle floral waste into their own line of products which they sell locally and nationally. This provides meaningful employment throughout the year and those participating receive expert mentorship and training. The brand call this the Beyond Sustainability Movement.
